BF16 Bag Filter

BioNovations has introduced its new BF16 Bag Filter in 2011.  The BF16 Filter is designed to provide filtration with no moving parts.

 

•     The BF16 Bag Filter can be located anywhere near the holding system but is generally located above the holding system for gravity flow to a holding tank.
  

• The BF16 Bag Filter comes equipped with twelve 100 micron filter bags as standard.  The filter bags are locked in between two polyethylene plates.  The top plate is easily removed for cleaning or replacement of the filter bags.  The unit comes with 12 spare bags.  The Bag Filter is designed so that the filter bags can be removed for cleaning or replacement without stopping the flow to the system.

•     The BF16 Bag Filter comes with an optional cover.  The cover rests on the top of the tank for easy removal.  The cover is designed to not completely seal the unit so venting of any gases occurs between the cover and the tank.

• The BF16 Bag Filter comes equipped with a safety feature that ensures continuous flow through the bag filter should the filter bags become plugged.  If the filter bags are plugged, water will overflow a second weir plate to the tank below.  This allows the operator time to clean the bags but does not stop flow to the system thereby maintaining circulation.
